La Calma was created by a pilot who spent years collecting what he wished existed in the places he stayed, and then built it on a quiet hillside in Uluwatu.
A villa named for calm
La Calma means calm, and it is named after Celine. After years living in Bali, our founder set out to build the kind of home he always wished he could check into, design-led, deeply private, and genuinely restful. Every material was chosen by hand: travertine underfoot, Jepara wood, copper details, and a seven-metre ceiling that makes the whole house breathe.
Today a local team in Bali looks after every guest with quick responses, spotless standards, and full respect for your privacy, while the villa stays true to a single idea: that luxury should feel like quiet, not noise.
